 How to Become a Volunteer!

Complete a Volunteer Application Form and Police Record Check

The Volunteer application form can be found on the Links anf Forms page of this website. This form needs to be filled out and returned to the local assocation or to 4-H Ontario. 

 

Once 4-H Ontario has recieved this form they will send you a package to assist you in getting a Police Record Check. A Vunerable Sector Check is required. The police check must also be sent to 4-H Ontario. 



 

Interview and Reference Check 

One all of your paperwork is complete you will be contact by the Hastings County 4-H Assocation to complete an interview and have a reference check done. You are almost a Volunteer! Just one step left!

Become A Mentor

Do you have knowledge or a skill that you want to share with 4-H members?

Are you a parent wanting to Chaperone a 4-H outing?

Do you just want to be involved with 4-H on a new level? You've come to the right place! 

 

 

New Volunteer Orinetation

The final step in becoming a Volunteer with 4-H Ontario is to complete a New Volunteer Orientation. These trainings are facilitated by our local 4-H staff Member and can be registered for by going onto the 4-H website or contacting our staff person at -  region3@4-hontario.ca
